Lake Catherine State Park

This peaceful park is located on Lake Catherine, one of five lakes in the beautiful Ouachita Mountain region. The only full-service marina on the lake is here at the park and open in the summertime for bait, snacks/drinks, and fuel. The park also includes a launch ramp, pavilion, picnic sites, playgrounds, and a well-marked trail that leads to a waterfall.

Northwoods Trails

The Northwoods Trails in Hot Springs, Arkansas, offer over 31.5 miles of world-class mountain biking and hiking trails, just five minutes from downtown. The trail system includes a variety of trails such as Green, Blue, and Black single track, multi-track, flow trails, and jump lines, catering to all skill levels. The trails are designed by the International Mountain Bicycling Association and feature a bike skills park at the Cedar Glades trailhead. Additionally, the Northwoods Trail System connects to Cedar Glades Park, enhancing the outdoor experience in the area.
